Meet the team
Jill Cronin
Jill is the manager and has worked at the nursery since 2004. In 2008 Jill completed her NVQ 4 training and became the nursery manager. Jill is also the Health and Safety Officer and is responsible for staff training and monitoring.
As a mother to a young child herself Jill is in touch with the needs and the interests of the children. Jill plans most of the nursery events and enjoys being hands on, working directly with the children.
When not in work Jill enjoys spending time with her family and enjoys days out in the countryside.
Jill Says “Hope Green is a fantastic company to work for and the team of girls are brilliant. The nursery is a family run business and you really do feel like you are part of a family here. Most of all, I get a great sense of achievement and feeling of well-being when I help others to succeed in their career. Working with the staff and children here is a delight”.
Hannah Orsler
Hannah qualified as a CACHE Level 3 Nursery nurse at Yale College and joined the team in 2013. Hannah has good knowledge of the Early Years and enjoys working with the older children.
Hannah is artistic and enjoys getting the children involved in arts and crafts. She also enjoys organizing fancy dress events for the children to enjoy and gears the staff up to join in with the fun!
At home Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband and her little boy. She also enjoys socializing with friends and taking her dogs Max and Nige for a walk. She enjoys family days out and the occasional beach holiday.
Hannah says “I have always wanted to work with children and particularly enjoy working with the older children. The children constantly amuse me with their funny stories, I enjoy the conversations I have with them”.
Paula Adams
Paula joined the team in 2010 and has an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare. Paula has a keen interest in cooking and enjoys doing baking activities with the children. Paula helped the nursery gain the Tiny Tums Award and helps plan healthy and nutritious meals for the children to enjoy.
When Paula is not in work, she enjoys baking delicious creations for the staff to enjoy! Paula’s nickname is Mary Berry. Paula also enjoys travelling and in her spare time helps to fundraise for local charities.
Paula says “I like to treat all of the children as individuals and get to know their individual personalities. The children are very precious and I love working with them. I like to make them nice treats to enjoy and love seeing them smile.”
Lauren Towers
Lauren is highly qualified and has completed her Level 5. Lauren has many years of experience and has worked in a variety of settings. For many years Lauren worked abroad as a children’s holiday rep and has also worked at ski resorts supporting children’s ski lessons.

Lauren’s hobbies include going for walks, spending time with her family and travelling. As Lauren has travelled a lot she has experiences she can share with the children.
​
Lauren says “Hope Green nursery is very welcoming. When I joined the team I instantly felt welcomed and everyone was so friendly. The staff are amazing with the children and give all their focus to the children.
Lauren Spicer
Lauren is a qualified member of staff who completed her NVQ Level 3 in 2018. Lauren enjoys working with the Pre-school aged children and delivers the Early Years Education in this group.

Lauren enjoys being outdoors with the children, helping to create a fun and interesting environment in which the children can learn and develop.
When not in work Lauren enjoys keeping active and improves her fitness at the gym. Lauren is also keen to organize and take part in fundraising events to support Alder Hey children’s hospital.

Lauren says “I enjoy working with children and finding out about their interests. I feel it is very important to listen to each and every child and to form strong relationships with the children and their families”.
Alesi Gray
Alesi is known to the children and staff as ‘Lacy’. Lacy is a qualified member of staff who completed her NVQ Level 3 training in January 2016.

When working with the children Lacy enjoys bringing out the children’s creative side. Lacy enjoys craft activities and encouraging the children to get messy in the paints!
​
Outside of work Lacy enjoys outdoor activities such as camping and walking. Lacy is into fitness and often takes part in charity events such as the Race for life.
​
Lacy says “Hope Green Nursery is a lovely place to be. The staff are great and the children are so much fun! I love that the nursery is small and it means I can get to know the children and their families well.”
Neisha Gabriel
Neisha has a level 3 qualification in Childcare and has previous experience in other
nurseries and school settings.
Neisha enjoys arts and crafts and loves coming up with new creative ideas to share with the children. She also loves playtime in our garden, especially with the older children taking part in games and activities to suit their needs and generally having fun with them.

When not in work, Neisha enjoys family days out, going out with friends, and taking her dog for walks on the beach.

Neisha says “Hope Green is such a lovely and fun place to work, the staff have always made me feel welcome since the moment I started. The children are all amazing and so much fun to look after. I like that it’s a small nursery as its feels more homely and we can work together as a close team”
Rhiannon Daly
Rhiannon Daly joined the team in 2021 as an apprentice and completed her Level 3
training with us.
Rhiannon has previously studied A Levels in Health and Social care and Dance and
uses her knowledge and experience of both subjects when working with the children.
​
When not in work, Rhiannon enjoys dancing and baking lots of yummy goodies for her family and friends.
​
Rhiannon says, “The staff and children have all been so welcoming since starting Hope Green Nursery. I love seeing the children have their own personalities and they always know how to make you smile! I am very excited about completing my training with such a lovely nursery”.
Anna Davies
Anna joined us as an apprentice. She is now Level 3 qualified and is enjoying her role in the nursery.

Anna enjoys being outdoors with the children and playing games to help develop their gross motor skills.
​
When not in work, Anna enjoys spending time with her family and little brother, Archie. Anna will be starting her driving lessons on her birthday next year and is looking forward to that.

Natalie Roberts
Natalie joined us at Hope Green Nursery in January 2022 as a Nursery Cook. Having 3 children herself, Natalie enjoys cooking and baking some yummy treats for the children.
When not in work, Natalie enjoys spending time with her children and her family and going on long weekends
away in her campervan.
Natalie says ‘I enjoy cooking lots of different recipes to make some yummy meals for the children. I love having the children’s input into meals they enjoy and also baking some healthy but tasty treats such as apple donuts! The children enjoy helping me make my shopping list by requesting some of their favourite snacks. I enjoy working at Hope Green Nursery as it’s like one big family!’
Laura Parker
Laura joined the team in September 2023 and has a BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies, along with a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. Laura has 15+ years’ experience in working with early years, in a variety of roles; She has lots of experience supporting SEN children and families. Laura is our designated ALN at Hope Green Nursery.

Laura has a CACHE qualification in Baby Yoga (0-5 years) and enjoys creating different experiences to support physical development.
​
When Laura is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys catching up with friends, reading and walking her dog, Rory.
​
Laura says, “I love working within early years, spending time getting to know each individual child and offering ideas and activities to develop their learning through their own interests.
Abigail Jones
Abigail is known to the children, staff and parents as Abi. Abi has a level 2
qualification in Playwork and has recently enrolled onto an NVQ Level 3 training
course.
​
Abi enjoys arts and crafts, providing the children with lots of fun, exploratory activities as well as music and dance. Abi encourages the children to join in with dance, moving in different ways and showing expression.
When not at work Abi spends time in the gym and enjoys spending time with her
friends.
